Students wishing to progress more quickly, have time restrictions or want to reach a higher level of proficiency in their dancing may want the individually tailored instruction that private lessons provide. These lessons are available by appointment for an individual, couple or small group. Whether you are preparing for an upcoming wedding, a special event or you're a competition dancer, our professional staff will help you reach your goals. The emphasis is on making your learning experience fun while you progress at a comfortable pace. Private lessons are available at these following locations: Raleigh, Franklinton, Chapel Hil, Durham.
Private Lesson Policies & Pricing
- A Private Lesson guarantees optimal individual attention from an instructor. However, you are not always guaranteed a private room. Other instructors/students may share the space when necessary.
- The pricing of Private Lessons is based on one or two students participating. If a lesson has more than two students, it is considered a Semi-Private Lesson. Please inquirer about Semi-Private Lesson Rates with our office. Area code (919) 494-2300 Email us
- EACH LESSON IS 55 MINUTES and is by appointment only. It is recommended that you book your lesson at least one week in advance in order to secure your desired day and time. Every lesson must be paid for in ADVANCE or at the start of the first lesson.
- To ensure that the instructor of your choice is available, you may schedule a Standing Lesson. A Standing Lesson means you will have the same day and time with your instructor every week. This lends to continuity of learning, as well as a simplified schedule. Standing Lessons can only be made when a student is on a package of five lessons or more. If a Standing Lesson is cancelled two or more times within a month, you risk forfeiting your standing day and time.
- There is a 24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY for all Private Lessons whether you have a standing lesson or not. If it becomes necessary to cancel your appointment, we must hear from you at least 24 hours before that lesson in order to avoid charging you for that lesson. If you cancel on the day of your lesson; a lesson will be deducted from your Private Lesson Package. If you purchased a Single Lesson and cancel the day of the booking; that lesson will be charged and you will have to pre-pay for a new lesson.
- There are NO REFUNDS. The fee for a bounced check is $20
