4 Week Group Classes:

Our 4 week (60 minute) or (90 minute) group classes give students a chance to learn new dances and dance patterns in an environment where you also have a chance to practice your steps in a group setting. Most class sessions are 4 weeks in duration. Students register for a specific class that will be held the same time each week.

Durham Arts Council classes are 4 weeks (60 - minute) group classes.

All group classes are PROGRESSIVE instruction. Each week we build on the prior week material. That means we will review the prior week material during the first half of class then we present new material the second half of the class hour. This is the most effective way of learning and retaining the techniques and material necessary to becoming a good social dancer. Class Descriptions

Select Drop- In Classes:

Our select 60 minute drop in classes are an excellent compliment to your current group dance lessons and offers a great method to gain additional knowledge and exposure to a variety of dances in a short period of time. This is a popular option for individuals who travel frequently or have evening scheduling conflicts. All our group classes work on a student rotation basis which means it’s never necessary to have a partner to learn any of the dances because we frequently rotate during each class. We believe strongly that this method helps produce excellent social dance skills and you meet a lot of friendly people this way. Our class sizes vary, however we limit the size of our 4 -week classes to a maximum of 36 people per class. Our Drop in classes are not limited in size

Completion Of Classes:

Group Classes must be completed during the 4 week cycle and may not be carried over from one class cycle to another. We do provide a single makeup voucher for one missed class that can be applied to a future class of the as dance style and level. Contact us and start dancing today!
