A. Our site has been designed to accept orders and protect the security of your personal information, including your credit card number. General Ordering Questions
Q. What is the Shopping Cart?
A. The Dance Store Shopping Cart is a convenient place to hold all the items you'd like to buy. Click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button for any item you'd like to order, and we'll place it in your cart for you ö and show you a list of everything that's currently in your cart. When you're ready to place your order, just access your Shopping cart and click the "Checkout" button.
Q. What if I have a problem while placing an order?
A. Although most online orders go very smoothly, occasionally you may experience some bumps in the road. If you're not sure about what to do next to complete your order, try beginning at your shopping cart. In most cases, you'll get back on track and easily complete your order. If you continue to have trouble with your order, please contact us.
Backorders
Q. When is my credit card charged after I've placed a backorder?
A. Your card is charged when the backordered item becomes available. If your order includes both in-stock and backordered items, you will initially be charged only for the in-stock portion of your order. The backordered portion is charged to your account when the item or items become available.
Q. How are backordered items shipped?
A. The shipping method depends on the destination, as follows:
- U.S.: Backordered items shipping to U.S. addresses are insured and delivered via the U.S. Postal Service. Backordered items do incur separate shipping charges.
- Canada: Backordered items are shipped to Canada via Canada Regular Shipping, and in most cases you can expect delivery of a backordered item within 10-15 business days after the item is back in stock. If your order includes both in-stock and backordered items, the backordered portion will be shipped at the prevailing Canadian shipping rates.
- Outside the U.S. and Canada: Backordered items shipping outside the U.S. And Canada are shipped via International Airmail, and in most cases you can expect delivery of a backordered item within 3-4 weeks after the item is back in stock. If your order includes both in-stock and backordered items, the backordered portion will be shipped at the prevailing International shipping rates.

Q. What are my payment options?
A. We accept the following methods of payment:

- The Dance Store Gift Certificates.
Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. Usually within one to two days after you place your order. Your card is charged when the order ships, and in most cases ö If your order contains backordered items, the backordered portion will not be charged to your account until shipped. Your statement will read MUSIC AND DANCE PROD
After Placing an Order
Q. Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted?
A. We're sorry, orders cannot be changed once they've been submitted. We process orders very quickly, and once an order begins the fulfillment process we're unable to modify it. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope that in the majority of cases our faster processing times work to your advantage.
Q. What sort of order confirmation will I get?
A. After you order, we'll send you an order confirmation by email.
Q. Can you send my order confirmation to more than one email address?
A. At this time we're unable to offer this service. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Q. Can I change a backorder online?
A. We're sorry, at this time we are unable to provide this service online. Please contact us to make a change to your backorder.
- Standard Priority Mail: In-stock merchandise will normally arrive in 3-6 business days after the order is received. Orders are shipped via UPS.
- Next Day Air: For overnight service, add $20 to Standard Express rate (Alaska and Hawaii add $30). Orders placed after 11:30 AM Central Time will ship the following business day.
